Tussock Traverse Volunteers Needed - 28 March 2026 - Register Your Interest

We’re thrilled to confirm that the Tussock Traverse will return for 2026!

Project Tongariro provides volunteer course marshals to cover all positions from Tukino Road right through to the Chateau Tongariro (which includes the Waihohonu Track marshals) and a BBQ team who look after participants when they cross the finish line.

We’re looking for about 30+ volunteers for positions such event registration, marshalling, BBQ team and bag check. It’s a fun day out and an important fundraising opportunity for Project Tongariro. We’d love to have you join us!
