Nature in focus: an afternoon of art and impact. Join us for an inspiring afternoon celebrating the launch of the Project Tongariro Legacy Circle, co-hosted with the Geyser Community Foundation, who manage our endowment fund.
Hosted in the stunning private garden of community advocate Helene Phillips, overlooking Acacia Bay in Taupō, guests will enjoy light refreshments, drinks, and kōrero on the vision and importance of legacy giving.
A highlight of the afternoon will be the unveiling of an original painting by Steve Harris, depicting Mt Ruapehu, the largest of the three peaks in Tongariro National Park and part of the dual World Heritage site. This artwork will be the main auction item, accompanied by a selection of conservation-related items and rare, behind-the-scenes experiences that are not normally available to the public. These opportunities offer a glimpse into work that is usually off-limits - the kind of encounters you simply can’t buy - adding an element of mystery and excitement to the evening, with all proceeds supporting the Project Tongariro Legacy Fund.
This meaningful gathering is by invitation only, bringing together conservation champions, supporters, and friends committed to nurturing and protecting our landscapes and communities for generations to come. Numbers are strictly limited, so if you would like to attend, please contact us to express your interest.

Check, Clean, Dry to stop the spread
Getting outdoors is a fantastic way to explore New Zealand, but it’s important to check, clean, and dry your gear to protect our environment. Check your boots, clothing, gear and equipment for weeds, seeds and pests, and clean thoroughly after each trip to prevent the spread of invasive species.
