Coordinators from Kids Greening Taupō will guide a group through the Waipāhīhī Botanical Gardens. The hikoi will begin at the clubrooms at the bottom of the gardens and wind up and around to the top.
Participants will learn about the unique plants found at the Gardens as well as the animal life that rely on them. At the top there will be time for bug hunting and free exploration. The hikoi will then continue back down to the club rooms where participants can choose to eat lunch or explore on their own.

Please note: the trip leader reserves the right to refuse anyone who is insufficiently equipped.
Adverse weather may result in cancellation/postponement. Admin and booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If you cancel your trip before 48 hours of the trip date, a refund will be provided (excluding the $6 booking fee). For cancellations within 48 hours of the trip, no refunds are applicable.
