Since October 2012 Project Tongariro removed the annual membership fee.  The membership fee is a one-off fee for individuals, families, schools or community groups.  In lieu of annual subscription fees, of course, anyone who wants to make a tangible contribution to Project Tongariro can still help out in a variety of ways, for example, volunteering, making a donation towards the purchase of plants or pest removal, by adopting a hectare at Rotopounamu, or perhaps setting up a future bequest.
