There are several events that occur in the national park over the year which Project Tongariro is asked to help for which we get a donation. These events are important for us as we get recognition for the work we do in the park and the events help to spread the word about Project Tongariro. The Land Rover Tussock Traverse event is an event run solely by Project Tongariro and is an important day in our calendar. This year the events and dates are:

 

TNHS Wellington Display: The Wellington Library have agreed to host a display by the society during the week 12-19 November, 2010. There will also be a member's dinner that week too - details to follow.
