A bequest will make a difference

A bequest is a method of making a lasting gift to a cause or issue that you feel strongly about. It can make your caring last for future generations.

By making provision in your will for the Tongariro Natural History Society, you can support our work and provide a lasting gift for Tongariro National Park, a world heritage site – a gift that will last forever. Every gift counts, every bequest means something more we can do to protect this special place for others to enjoy.

Bequests can be:

• Gift of money
• Gift of property and real estate to keep or to sell
• Gift of park memorabilia such as books, maps and photographs.

What do I need to do in order to make a Bequest?

• If you have a Will, all you need to do is make an amendment called a codicil.
• This can be as simple as filling in the form below, having two people witness your signature and sending it to your solicitor.
• It should not cost you anything to add a codicil.
