These organisations and businesses are active supporters of the Society's work. Their dedication to our work and the Tongariro National Park opens up opportunities for you to participate in our conservation and education work. We gratefully acknowledge their help and look forward to continuing the partnerships.

Land Rover New Zealand is our major sponsor but we also are grateful for the support of:

  • The Park Travellers Lodge, National Park
  • New Zealand Trust for Conservation Volunteers
  • Lake Taupo Museum & Art Gallery, Taupo
  • The Grand Chateau, Whakapapa Village
  • Skotel, Whakapapa Village

We still have a lot of work to do and will always welcome additional sponsorship, no matter how large or small. If you are interested then talk to Sarah Gibb, our Director by email or phone her on +64 7 386 6499

landrover

Land Rover New Zealand, in association with The Friends of Tongariro (Tongariro Natural History Society), has established a unique environmental protection programme that directly benefits Tongariro National Park.

The society will receive a financial contribution of the estimated cost for protecting a hectare of national park from Motorcorp Distributors Ltd, the New Zealand importer of Land Rover, each time a new Land Rover is sold through an Authorised Land Rover Centre.
